Checking in for April!
April is one of my favorite months of the year. It's my birthday month. It's a month that signals the start of Spring, new life, Easter and family holidays and the weather really starts to warm up. This April has been no exception to all of my favorite things, but it's definitely all come with a BIG twist: COVID-19. We're well into the stay-at-home order, and I honestly can't even remember what "number" day it is, but it feels like Day 9,454 of this new normal. The last official month of school has rolled again pretty smoothly, all things being considered. It is definitely not the ideal (or the expected) way to conclude a Master's program, for sure. But, even in these times, we have found some ways to keep a semblance of normalcy to the program. Most of our classes resumed online, and things felt pretty much the same.
